Q.2.1 Unemployment between the ages of 15 and 24 has reached a staggering 71 million (ILO, 2016). Solution fluency is a guided problem solving framework that consists of six D’s. Use the solution fluency process to solve unemployment problems in your area. Provide a brief background of your area and how you intend to tackle this problem.

My community background is a quiet but are robberies are usually successful because the robbers they know its a quiet place. There is also racial tensions in my community because there were many arguments because of racist comments and intimidation in the streets. There are also several potholes in the streets. The environment is full of palm trees and low grass.

Define: When you define you must make sure it is an accurate answer because if it is not an accurate answer then it will be irrelevant. Do not define too much which if  you do will have to eliminate some irrelevant information. If you are defining too small you will have to put enough information for it to be fully defined. My definition of the problem of my community is that there so many tensions because of our differences. Robberies is also frequent nowadays in community. The wheels of our car becomes vulnerable because of the potholes. Our plan is to have a whatsapp group of our community.

Discover: After 1994 ever since other colour of people came to live in the neighbourhood the problem has started from there because some people still had that propaganda from apartheid. Integration and peace could have been done immediately after 1994 because hatred comes generations after generations. There should have been a police station because robbers that comes in my community comes and take an advantage. I think the police must be around the neighbourhood 24/7 to do something differently. The potholes were caused by rains and in order to fix this matter to make a difference is to put expensive tar road that will last for many years to come.

Dreams: The solution for the racist barriers in my neighbourhood is that to make a fun event for the children so that we can all unite as one regardless of colour. As I said previous paragraph the hatred is caused in generations so this how got like this today. Robberies is caused from poverty from nearby township, the solution is to supply whatever they need such clothes food and available education for their children in order for them to respect us as a peaceful community which they won't harm us in the future and also having police around us just in case. The solution for potholes is that we inform and contact the municipality  as a community that we need remake our roads that will last for decades.

Design: To make these solutions really to come true, I must personally find a small group of my age in my community to make a proposal to the parents of the community for us to make a fundraising event which I'll also need to have their contact to make this event work, if not then I must try unite with their children of my age. I also need to make a whatsapp group because for neighbourhood watch if there is any robbery or crime activities in the neighnourhood. If I also struggle to get the contact of the municipal contact number then I'll have to go there personally about our road safety of the potholes.

Deliver: The production of uniting like I said in the previous paragraph is to make a fundraising event for fun games for our age group so that the parents of different colour can see that we are different in our generation. There will be full of playstation 4 games, computer area and arcade place where I know I a lot of my friends outside East London have those types of games. The nusic band will play at the event. If the municipality does not respond our contact calls, I'll have to organise my groups  of people in my community and go to the municipality peacefully. We will be using placards of wanting the municipality to improve our neighbourhood of the roads and robbery.

Debrief: This is the evaluation that I can answer because the problems I see and hear with my own two eyes and ears in my community including robbery where I hear neighbours crying out when they are getting robbed which is it usually too late.
